On Thursday 24th we celebrated Happy Thanksgiving

This week,we celebrated St.Patrick´s Day!
Jill,our assistant,brought a box that her mum sent her from the United State.
It contained various green accesories:sunglasses,hats,bracelets and a birthday crown.The children tried on the accesories and we took fun photos.
With fourth grade,we created shamrock and rainbow art projects.
With pre-school,we colored a green leprechaun.

 HAPPY St.Patrick´s Day!!!!

On Valentine´s Day my students and my assistant,Jill,made a wonderful craft.

We needed:

- A piece of coloured paper.
- A pair of scissors.
- Glue

They draw their hand on a piece of paper and they cut it.Later,they bent two fingers and glued a heart shape on the hand with a message on it like:

   I love you

             Happy Valentine´s Day

                                 Kiss me

and after that we created a wonderful heart with all the hands.

This week,our American assistant,Jill brought in money from the United States.She shared examples of American bills and coins.Students noticed the symbols and pictures of U.S presidents on the money. Jill also brought examples of train and subway tickets from Boston to show to the students.

We´re lucky this year at CEIP Carlos Casares in Xinzo because we have an assistant with us.
Her name is Jill Alexandra and she´s from Ashburnham ( Massachusetts).She helps us  lot with her accent because it´s good for the students and they really love it.
She made a power point presentation about Halloween and I would like to share it with you.
